We are a live audiovisual project based in Portugal. We have been recently developing a performance composed by real-time live coding sound and audio-reactive visuals.
Our performance has been presented at the Fine Arts Faculty - University of Porto (15.05.2015), Centro de Memória at Vila do Conde (16.05.2015) and Maus Hábitos in Porto (26.06.2015). We are constantly in a complex change with our environment interacting with the spaces through our senses. To explore the space, we will be using raw material for soundscape composition and live performance and will also be promoting a memory of the place. We want to explore the relation between the real time performance with image and sounds from the physical world (public space). For the Festival, we propose to develop, in site, a new audiovisual live act specific for the city that represents the everyday crossovers of the Tejo river. Daily, thousands of people get on board the “cacilheiros” boats, as an essential part of their daily lives, and cross the river between the south and north shores. Looking out the window we behold the river, the seagulls, the Lisbon’s skyline, the smell of a fresh morning and we experience a multi-sensory journey. + info http://plunc.pt/performances/kobayashi/
